- The offense didn't show up tonight, but the three game losing streak is over as the Red Sox beat Texas 2-1. Check the wrap and the recap here.

- PLAYER OF THE GAME: TIM WAKEFIELD

- PLAY OF THE GAME: With the bases loaded in the top of the 7th, Manny Delcarmen threw a fastball, that Sammy Sosa couldn't catch up to, ending the inning.

- I love the flair that Jon Papelbon plays with. The look on his face when he thought he beat Kenny Lofton to the bag was priceless. He is a competitor and loves to win. I love players that play their hardest and love winning.

- Alex Cora started in Julio Lugo's place for the second time this week. He was hitless in three at bats. Lugo continues to struggle and is 0 for his last 31 at bats.
